You may remember some months ago we did a blog post on the spectacular Womersley Packaging illustrated by Petra Borner. Shortly after our post was published we were contacted by the Managing Director of Womersley Rupert Parsons with a very kind offer to sample his unique infusion range. The beautifully packaged bottles arrived in a fully branded box - this is a company with impeccable taste and superb attention to detail, just what we like!
Our goodies consisted of a bottle of Strawberry and Mint Vinegar and a jar of Apple and Geranium Jelly which we just couldn't wait to taste. To savour the flavour we opted for home grown organic leaves, juicy tomatoes, freshly baked organic wholemeal bread, smoked chicken breast, home made coleslaw, parma ham and some feta cheese (we also purchased some mini pork pies but they never made it to the tasting!).
Womersley's Apple and Geranium Jelly, with its fragrant aroma of roses takes you on a journey of turkish delight and arabian nights - like nothing we had ever tasted before, this jelly is a stunning accompaniment to smoked chicken. The Strawberry and Mint Vinegar was scented and balanced to perfection and made for a very sophisticated salad. With their spectacular packaging and expertise at combining infusions, Womersley's really know how to make sauces special, dips delightful and metze marvellous. AMAZING!

We aim to please! By the way, it IS "Strawberry and Mint" we do instead of "Raspberry & Mint" referred to above. A damn fine combination:)
